A Crowded Market and Competition

Paul and I were discussing our SuperFoods Products this afternoon as we prepare to fly out to the Expo West 2018 Natural Food Show in Anaheim, California. As we browsed the exhibitor's list, we noticed that there were numerous companies offering very similar products. This lead to the internal question, "Can we compete in a crowded market and compete against some big players in the space?"
Both Paul and I whole-heartedly agree that we can and we will! We have tried many "veggie burgers" and "Plant-protein burgers" that crowd the shelves in all levels of retailers. Maybe we are biased, but nothing even comes close to the taste of our SuperFoods Burgers. Then, when you flip the box over and read what other companies are calling "ingredients", we are even more excited to get our products produced en mass and out to everyone.

Soy Isolates, Textured Soy Protein, Soy Protein Concentrate, Egg Whites, Scillium Husks, Millet, Brown Rice, Rice Flour, Rice Starch, Wheat Gluten, Potato Starch, Potato, Corn Starch, Cellulose Gum, Dried Vegetables, Canola Oil, Bread Crumbs, Pea Fiber, Poly- Something, Guar Gum, Yeast Extract, Thiamine Hydrocloride, and may more ingredients that we cannot pronounce, nor will try to type. This is what is in the current crowd of "veggie burgers" on the shelves today.

As we make batch after batch of our SuperFoods Burgers, we find that we never think to ask each other, "Should we add some Rice Flour or Textured Soy Protein this batch?" Really... why would we ask that, because our SuperFoods Burgers do not need ingredients beyond the real food and veggies that we put into them.
Yes, we know why most of the veggie burger producers put those chemicals and starches into their veggie burgers. They add those in, because they want to keep the costs down, so that they can be price competitive.
With that said, we are not in this to compete with anyone , company, or thing, except for poor health, disease, and the harmful effects of foods and ingredients that are toxic to our bodies. We are competing against the illnesses and diseases that more than 70% of Americans face on a daily basis. We also know that there are plenty of pharmaceuticals that help "treat" these illnesses and diseases, but we prefer to "treat" ours with restorative and nutrient-dense foods that taste amazing.
We know that there are other companies that believe as we do, so we venture out of the Philadelphia Area tomorrow, and look forward to meeting the amazing people behind other amazing companies at Expo West.
When we come back, look out for even more product ideas, and hopefully we can make more advances towards finding a way to produce our products so that more people who need our products can get them more easily.
My ramble is done, the question is answered, and I need to finish packing. Cheers and Be Super!
